State Identification Workshop

Volunteers for the workshop will be assisting DAC members to sort through documentation in order to obtain state-issued IDs and birth certificates

Program Description

The State Identification Workshop operates in conjunction with the Detroit Action Commonwealth, a community organization dedicated to improving the lives of indigent individuals. One major problem for low-income Detroiters is obtaining state identification, which is necessary for housing, school, banking and more. Volunteers for the workshop will be assisting DAC members to sort through documentation in order to obtain state-issued IDs and birth certificates.

Please contact Abbey Roggenbuck (abbeyr@umich.edu)  if you have any questions about this program or about volunteering in a Detroit Partnership weekly program.
