[Program Full] Homework Heroes at the Detroit Leadership Academy (Tuesdays)

The Children's Education Experience at the St. Vincent & Sarah Fisher Center, which is located in the city of Detroit, offers both after-school and summer programs personalized tutoring.

Assist middle school students with their academic lessons and squash practices.

We will be tutoring students from grades 2-8 in a variety of subjects to strengthen their abilities in all areas.

Volunteers for the workshop will be assisting DAC members to sort through documentation in order to obtain state-issued IDs and birth certificates

Volunteer to tutor middle school students in various subjects such as math and creative writing at Racquet Up Detroit!

Work with 7th grade students on reading and writing activities. This entails reading in small groups, leading discussions, and revising students' writings.

Students’ ages will range from kindergarten to fifth grade. Homework could be math, spelling, or just sitting with a child and helping them read.

We need caring positive role models to help high school students achieve scholastic goals, most importantly with science and math.

Teach basic math and English skills to elementary school students. A wonderful opportunity to gain leadership experience, shape future minds, and have a lasting impact on the community.
